30-Day Manager Rollout Checklist

Rolling out manager training doesn’t need months. Use this checklist to get movement in four weeks without taking people off the job. It works whether you start with first-line managers or go wider.

Week One - Set The Foundations

#1

Name an exec sponsor and a rollout owner. Set a weekly check in and baseline the three measures: weekly one to ones, one clear goal per person, weekly feedback moments

#2

Choose cohort one and pick four short courses to start. Suggested set: one to ones, goal setting, feedback, better meetings

#3

Upload the SCORM files to your LMS and test playback. Add a one sentence outcome in each course description.

#4

Draft two notes. A short launch note from the sponsor and a manager briefing that explains what to do this week.

Week Two - Go Live

#1

Send the launch note and the manager briefing.

#2

Release the first two courses and test a real user journey end to end.

#3

Leaders check that weekly one to ones are in diaries. Managers add one clear goal per person.

#4

Friday snapshot. Logins, course progress, quick wins and blockers.

Week Three - Build Momentum

#1

Release the next two courses for cohort one and invite cohort two if capacity allows.

#2

Share three short examples of what improved in a leadership update.

#3

Check the LMS setup. Titles, descriptions, tracking and access are correct.

#4

Keep the same three measures and review them in the weekly check in.

Week Four - Evidence & Next Steps

#1

Pull the three measures against baseline and capture one quote per team about a decision, a fix or a customer improvement

#2

Hold a 30 minute review with the sponsor. Agree the next 30 days.

#3

Update the plan. Stay on the core set or add two new courses, and confirm the next cohort.

#4

Share a one page summary with leaders and book the next review.
